  • About the Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship

    The Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship is the culminating event on the CJGA’s schedule, bringing together the top junior golfers across North America in an esteemed four day competition. This event provides elite junior golfers with an opportunity to compete in a high profile national championship event as well as build their golf resumes.

    Tournament Format:

    Four rounds of stroke play. After the first two rounds of play there will be a cut of 50% and ties in each of the divisions for the remaining two rounds.

    Divisions Consist of:

    • Junior Boys (U19)
    • Junior Girls (U19)
    • Bantam Boys (U15)
    • Bantam Girls (U15)

    Competition Eligibility:

    Juniors can earn entry into the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship by the following methods but should be aware the entry fee:

    1. Winner of Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship earns lifetime exemption into the Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship until their age exceeds qualification.
    2. Place 1st or 2nd (including ties) in any CJGA Junior Tour event in previous or current season.
    3. Top 5 players in previous seasons of the CJGA Order of Merit.
    4. Winner of any National or Provincial Junior Championship in previous season.
    5. Current members of a National or Provincial Team
    6. Note: Players who do not meet one or more of the above listed qualifying criteria may still enter. Players who meet the criteria will have a spot reserved for them but this will only hold until 14 days prior to the event.

    Please note that in order to participate in CJGA Championship events, you must be a member and in good standing with the Canadian Junior Golf Association.

    Eligibility: A players age is determined as of August 1, 2024.

  • About Carlisle Golf

    Carlisle Golf & Country Club is home to 27 holes of golf, all of which are meticulously maintained. The club features three different nines, the East Course is the shortest. At 3,179 yards from the back tees, Carlisle Golf & Country Club's East Course is not significantly shorter in length but it is easier than the other two courses. The South Course is the second longest of the three at 3,264 yards from the back tees.

    The greens putt fast and true while also being meticulously maintained. In addition to three different courses, Carlisle Golf & Country Club offers various tee deck options to accommodate players of all skill levels. This public club is a well known spot among locals for its friendly, helpful staff and excellent course conditions.

    Always meticulously groomed and maintained, the golf course offers a parkland style layout with rolling greens, tall pine trees, ohio sand bunkers and generous fairways. Home to long-standing women’s and men’s leagues, you will find a strong sense of community at this west-end favourite golf course.
