Get back into the swing of competition with the CJGA Back to School Langara Open! Designed to kick off the school year with an exciting day of golf, this tournament welcomes both Linkster and Junior players for an inclusive, competitive, and enjoyable experience across multiple age divisions.
Competition Highlights
- Junior World Opportunity — Winners of each eligible division will receive first consideration on the draft list for the 2027 Junior World event in San Diego
Each Division will have an award for:
- Closest-to-the-Pin
- Long Drive
- Putting Competition
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place
Rankings
- Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) Ranking
- CJGA Order of Merit / Merit Points
Further qualification requirements, eligibility criteria, and additional details for the 2027 Junior World opportunity will be announced later this year or in early 2027. Final qualification and participation will be subject to the official requirements and confirmation announced at that time.
Player Goody Bag
Every registered player will receive a golf and snack package, including:
- Tee Gift 🎁
- 1 sleeve of Titleist Pro V1 golf balls ⛳️
- 1 bottle of water
- 2 beef jerky snacks
Player Meal Package
Each player will also receive a lunch/snack package consisting of:
- Sandwich 🥪 or hot dog 🌭
- Drink🥤
- Chips

About the Golf Course
Langara Golf Course
Located in the heart of Vancouver, Langara Golf Course is one of the city’s most popular and highly sought-after public golf courses. The scenic 18-hole layout features mature trees, thoughtfully designed fairways, and strategic hazards to provide an enjoyable challenge for all golfers.
As the host venue for the CJGA Back to School Langara Open, Langara provides an ideal setting for junior golfers to return to competitive play and showcase their skills. With a balance of challenging holes and approachable playing conditions, the course encourages players to compete, learn, and enjoy the game.

Spectator & Caddies Policy
To help maintain pace of play and effective course management:
- Each player may have one caddie
- No additional spectators will be permitted to follow players on the golf course
- Family members and guests are welcome to remain around the clubhouse/designated spectator areas
